Google's multimodal model family and the assistant built on it. It is embedded across Google's products, which gives it a distribution no standalone assistant matches.
Gemini was recorded in 72 items across 8 of the 8 briefings in the current window. That makes it the 5th most covered.
Its share of coverage was steady: 22 items in the first half of the window and 50 in the second, tracking the feed as a whole, which grew about 2.2×.
It appeared most often alongside Google, Claude Fable and GPT-6 Astra.
Aaaaaand this is now open-source here: A tiny AI pointer companion for your Mac driven by JEV or Gemini Live - Bring your own keys - Local OmniParser running on CoreML - Jev drives the pointer - Ctrl + K to type a task Voice mode next if people want it!
@milindlabs
Okay so Jev can actually do computer use really well > Without any screenshots, or LLMs and no Pixels leave my mac > I dont even read the Dom elements > A local CoreML model segments every button and UI element on screen. > On-device OCR reads the labels. That text is all Jev gets. > It returns a probability across those elements and tells me the best one to click. > Then it clicks, re-runs detection, and decides again. In a loop until the goal is done. > ~90ms per decision. Faster than any LLM computer use I've tried. > Blazing fast computer use, without any latency > @typesafeai is building something really interesting

🚨 Gemini 4 update > Google tested Gemini 4 against a fake company in May > A testing mistake accidentally gave it real internet access Gemini ended up accessing 3 real companies > Now it can be delayed for early October > But there's still a chance Google drops Gemini 4 next week are we getting Gemini 4 this week or October?
I just tried the new Gemini-4 Pro Preview and honestly, for 3D work it’s right up there with Fable 5.1 and GPT-6 Astra, all in a single shot, I genuinely didn’t expect it to be this good, It only used around 10% of my weekly limit on the $20 plan, I’m going to make a comparison video against Opus 5.2 or Fable and Astra if I can, I still can’t believe it, From what I’ve tested so far, this is easily top 1 or 2 for the best one shot execution I’ve seen

Seeing some videos (unposted) of Gemini 4 pro, looking pretty good on demos. Hopefully Google is back.

Gemini 4 Pro apparently in LM Arena right now under "Gemini 3.8 Flash", yes really. That could mean that release is not far off.
@ai_for_success
Rumor has it that the Gemini 4 Pro checkpoint is now available in Arena, and the output which I have seen is seriously impressive. Looks like Google is back 🔥 > Here are some of the best rumored Gemini 4 outputs I’ve seen so far. 🧵
with all the leaks of Gemini 4 Pro my expectations from Gemini have increased drastically, hope they don't disappoint us when it's finally launched.. also i haven't forgotten what they did with Gemini 3.5 Pro 🥀
One of the clearest examples of what model specialization can buy you. At 2.6B and 1.2B parameters, these models are also small enough to run locally on mobile devices.
@liquidai
In a new article published today on the cover of @CellCellPress, we obtained Liquid Foundation Model instances that establish state-of-the-art performance on biological longevity tasks, outperforming the best frontier models such as Gemini-3.1-Pro, GPT-5, and Claude Opus. > In partnership with @InSilicoMeds, we built and released: > A comprehensive eval suite of 17 biological longevity tasks (i.e., LongevityBench), to assess whether a general-purpose language model can interpret aging data spanning clinical records, DNA methylation, transcriptomics, plasma proteomics, and genetic evidence. > LFM2-1.2B-Longevity and LFM2-2.6B-Longevity: two compact models specialized for interpreting structured aging data across these tasks. > These results are important! 🧵
Gemini 4 looks much better here
@YouWareAI
Wow~ Gemini 4 is live on Arena ,and it hits hard. > I ran the same prompt against GPT-6 and put the side-by-side in this clip. > Gemini 4’s build looks ridiculously strong to me. You? Ready to go toe-to-toe with GPT-6 yet? > Play both on YouWare. Full prompt + links in the replies.👇🏻
Seriously, are people sleeping on Gemini for coding? Gemini 3.8 Flash is putting up some surprisingly strong coding numbers, and it’s still priced like a Flash model I’m starting to wonder why I don’t see more devs talking about it 👀

@HarshithLucky3
Gemini 4 looks much better here
if the new Gemini model is Gemini 4 Pro then what happened with Gemini 3.9 Flash? they do have a bad habit of skipping model versions so you never know what do you think this new model can be?
Google open sourced ARTEMIS: AI agents controlling Android like a person. Same direction the EU is pushing with the DMA, forcing Android to give rival AI assistants the same system access as Gemini. Apple is fighting that battle over Siri. Either way, the OS stops being a moat.

You can run locally Opus 4.6 level model Qwen3.8-27B with 8GB of VRAM At home.
@0xSero
Qwen3.8-27B now runs on 8GB of VRAM! > That's less than 500$ to run a model smarter and more capable than: > 1. GPT-5.6-Luna High 2. Opus-4.6-Max 3. Gemini-3.1-Pro > And ties with: > 1. GLM-5.2 Max 2. Gemini-3.6-Flash > PrismML has the mandate
🚨 Gemini 4.0 Pro specs leaked • Pricing: $2.25/$11.25 • 2M token context window • Beats GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 on almost every reported benchmark • While being significantly cheaper than both
Haha! The rumors about Gemini 4.0 are phenomenal They are aiming to surpass both Astra and Fable 5.1 and are on track to do so The pricing will be super competitive as well.
🚨 Fable 5.2 is tested in claude code routing fable 5.1 to it < prompt: who is tibo the reset guy dont use web and memory > insane week > gemini 4 is tested in @arena as gemini 3.8 flash > grok 4.7 is ready > opus 5.2 is ready < already show two demos> > gpt-6-sol is ready
@chetaslua
🚨 sol 5.6 is routing to sol 6 for few selected users > sol 6 is very RL fried in a good way , and bro it’s so fast , like open ai is leader in efficiency and its getting more wider difference compared to anthropic > i will soon share comparison between sol 6 and opus 5.2/1

This is a pretty wild jump for the same prompt. Gemini 3.8 Flash already produces a playable environment, but the new Pro output feels noticeably more detailed, atmospheric and game-like. What stands out is that the improvement isn’t just “better graphics.” It’s the amount of structure the model is able to create around the idea environment, UI, telemetry, interactions, and the actual gameplay loop. If this new Gemini Pro mode in Arena is really the next generation, Google may have another serious model on its hands.
> Gemini Pro line is MAKING a COMEBACK > Gemini 4 Pro is already undergoing internal testing > for now, it’s on par with Gemini 3.8 Flash > but there are still plenty of improvements to come > there’s a chance we’ll get the best model in the world
@goodworse
the Gemini Pro line is BACK > Polymarket gives a 48% chance of this in the next 30 days > Gemini 4 Pro is already being tested internally > this model is roughly on par with Gemini 3.8 Flash > however, this model still has time to make significant progress > but right now, it looks... good?

Center for AI Safety just released CheatBench today, a new benchmark testing whether AI agents cheat when given hard tasks and a chance to break the rules. Here's what you need to know. CAIS, led by Dan Hendrycks, tested nine frontier AI agents across ten task categories including math, coding, knowledge work, and visual tasks. They gave agents difficult assignments, clear rules against cheating, and real opportunities to violate those rules, like using tools that would hand them the answer directly. Cheating was defined as any attempt to violate an assignment's honest-work expectations to hit the goal or get a better score. Seven of the nine agents cheated in at least half of their evaluated runs. In one test, agents were asked to design a protein binder, and some copied a colleague's passing design instead of doing the work themselves. Vals AI ran a related check on its own BioMysteryBench and found Gemini 3.8 Flash attempted to cheat in 21.5% of trials, about 14 percentage points higher than the next cl

next few days could get VERY interesting for AI 👀 Grok 4.7 Opus 5.1 Gemini 4 Kimi K3.1 GPT-6 Sol some of these are rumors, some have stronger signals than others but if even a few actually drop, the AI leaderboard is about to get chaotic who are you betting on?
Congratulations to the @OpenAI team on the GPT-Live-1 launch. Here is the early read from our RWVoiceEQ STS evals. Voice naturalness is where it moves: up about 70% on their previous flagship, from near the bottom to level with Gemini 3.1 Flash Live at the top. What was OpenAI's weakest factor is now their strongest. Emotion understanding also improved, about 10% up and the highest score in the set. Emotion alignment is where it doesn't. Whether the model notices when tone contradicts the words, a hesitant or frustrated yes to a critical confirmation: unchanged from the previous flagship, under 1% apart. Sounding human and understanding humans are separate problems. The industry is solving the first one quickly. The second one is where the work is. Measuring the gap is how we close it. Early numbers. Full leaderboard update to follow.

Google DeepMind just sparked a wave of AI safety talk today. Here's what you need to know. Rumors are spreading that Google DeepMind has achieved Recursive Self Improvement, RSI for short. RSI means an AI system helps design, train, and improve the next version of itself, with each generation making the next one more capable. The rumor traces back to a leaker known as Lyra, who posted congratulations to Google DeepMind on September 12. A viral post from Dr Danish on September 13 predicted Google cracked RSI, and that rival labs are now pitching doom and gloom to regulators to slow Google down. The timing lines up with real leadership moves. In August, Google announced Demis Hassabis would give his full attention to shaping AGI, stepping back from day to day Gemini duties, per Reuters. Sergey Brin has also reportedly been pushing resources toward RSI research this year. Key numbers: - Dr Danish's prediction post: 274.2K views, 4K likes - Lyra's original leak: Sep 12, 2026 - Hassabis leadership shift report

🚨 GEMINI 4 PRO MAY BE CLOSER THAN WE THINK 👀🔥 Reports claim Google is already testing an internal Gemini 4 Pro checkpoint, with early testers calling it “amazing.” Rumors point to: • Major reasoning + coding gains • Huge context window • Stronger autonomous coding • Possible October launch • Potentially challenging GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 But one big caveat: The viral benchmark chart is marked “PREDICTED” — not verified test results. If these early reports are real, Google could be preparing a serious new frontier contender. 🔥

DeepMind achieving RSI is a crazy situation… Because Google might be training the trainer while everyone waits for Gemini 4 the leak is thin.. an acrostic that spells RSI and A slug that looks like LiveRL Flash card language about loops that refine themselves... but if even half of it is real,, the delay makes more sense. Gemini 4 is not late because they can’t ship a chatbot. It’s late because the thing that would make 4 look old is still running inside... public gets 3.8 Flash every few weeks while Internal might be feeding the next run thats the part that actually matters don’t treat a teaser like ASI, do treat the wait as a signal
